Dr. V. K. Sharma working as a Visiting Faculty of Psychology at School of Liberal Arts and Management, DIT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He did Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar with research on "Effects of Hypnotherapy in Malignancy and Associated Conditions". He has been awarded the prestigious doctoral fellowship for his doctoral research work by ICSSR, New Delhi. Dr. Sharma is UGC-NET and U-SET (Uttarakhand) qualified. Further, 16 manuscripts have been published as book chapters, research papers, and articles in nationally and internationally reputed journals and more than 25 invited lectures have been delivered in universities like Dr. Harisingh Gaur University (Central University), SGT University, Dev Sanskriti University, Patanjali University, Lakulish Yoga University etc.
His research interest lies primarily in Psycho-oncology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Clinical Psychology, and Indian Psychology and has good command over Cognitive Psychology and Statistics & Research Methodology. Apart from this, he has strong analytical abilities for primary data analysis. He is also well versed with statistical packages like SPSS and also involved in consultancy for quantitative data analysis at UG, PG and PhD level. He has a total of more than 8 years teaching experience and more than 3 years experience as psychologist. Dr. Sharma is editorial member of national and international reputed journals.
