Functions of research advisory board

  • Being an integral part of the University, the board is responsible for the smooth conduction of research oriented activities.
  • Highlighting the emerging technologies of various domains for efficient and productive research.
  • Review proposed research and extension projects on an annual cycle, including off-cycle requests.
  • Provide recommendations on proposed projects and Centre resources.
  • Research board constantly look for new areas to shed light on and bring to the attention of the academic community, with a focus on rigor, relevance, and actionable implications.
  • To create a conducive environment for promotion of Research & Innovation activities in the institute.
  • To encourage faculty members to apply for Major, Minor Research Projects, Incubation, Design and innovation Centres.
  • To ensure smooth functioning and effective Management of Research & Innovation activities at the institute.
  • To promote collaborative and Trans disciplinary research.
  • To strengthen industry–institute interaction by promoting consultancy, testing and need based research & innovation activities in the institute.
