    Welcome to our ground-breaking B.Tech program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (RAI), offered under the Department of Mechanical Engineering at DIT University, Dehradun.     The course curriculum is a commitment to providing students with a comprehensive understanding of robotics and Artificial Intelligence. From fundamental principles to advanced technologies, students explore topics such as robotics Design, kinematics and dynamics, Sensors, Programmable Logical Controller, artificial intelligence, machine learning, machine vision, internet of things, Industry 4.0 and human-robot interaction. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in this rapidly evolving field.

B. Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

1. Passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
2. Secured pass marks in PCM and should have proficiency in English language.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1 Students are expected to gain knowledge of product design, thermal engineering and manufacturing system by acquiring knowledge in mathematics, science and designing principles.
PEO2 Graduate will be able to analyze, interpret and provide solutions to the real life mechanical engineering problems generated in industries.
PEO3 Graduate develops skills to analyse the problem with experimental approach which leads to the hands on experience and thereby increases the employability in manufacturing and allied industries.
PEO4 Graduates will learn managerial skills to work effectively that makes him sustainable in a society by following ethical and environmental practices.
PEO5 Graduate will respond to the demand of the society by engaging in lifelong learning.

Outcomes of the Program

PO1 Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2 Problem analysis:: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3 Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5 Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO6 The Engineer and society: : Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
PO7 Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
