National IEEE Student Workshop on "Internet of Thing: Devices to Cloud" August 29-31, 2019 About The Workshop:
This workshop was organized by Department of IT with help of CSE and MCA department. This workshop was a national level workshop .Total 50 participants were registered and more than 30 participant was from outside from DIT University. This workshop was organized with the association of IEEE Roorkee subsection. The contents of this workshop ware based on hands-on practice like Introduction to IoT, Introduction to Sensors and Actuators, Processors (Microcontroller/Microprocessor) and various Boards (Arduino & Raspberry) , IoT Levels, IoT Virtual Lab SD Card Burning and First Boot ,Raspberry Pi– configuration, Basic Linux Commands, SSH - Secure Shell , Virtual Network Computing (VNC), Headless mode (ssh autostart,vnc, wifi auto , Sensors – Switches, Potentiometer, LDR, DHT-11 , Actuators – LEDs, Motor (L293D), LCD, MQTT - Message Queuing Telemetry Transport, (Publisher- Subscriber Model), Cloud Platforms – MySQL, Think Speak , Data Analytics and Vizualization- Graphs, Charts etc.
