About Program

The Bachelor of Arts in Economics (3 Years) program is a comprehensive three-year undergraduate program that imparts students with a profound understanding of the principles of Economics and its multifaceted applications in the contemporary world.

The program encompasses a vast spectrum of topics, encompassing micro and macroeconomic theory, econometrics, international economics, public policy, economic history, and environmental economics. The program strengthens the quantitative and analytical skills of the students by training them to use state-of-the-art statistical software E-Views, SPSS, R-studio, and Python. The students are individually cared for and supported by the Economics faculty, who have received their Ph.Ds. from the top institutions in India and abroad. To promote holistic skill development, students are encouraged to take Minor courses in Statistics and Computer Applications.

The program is furnished with highly interactive classes, which continually challenge students to be involved in their overall development. This helps build communication bridges and explore international opportunities in today's global world. The course aims to provide a supportive and stimulating environment to help students reach their full potential.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1

To enrich the knowledge in the study of Economics to gain an understanding of the literature across the world as a reflection of the society it is born in.

To provide an introductory exposure to methods and methodologies in economic domain to explore wider universal issues for better understanding of themselves and the world around them and to apply the knowledge for further research..

The ability to understand the complex dynamics economics theory and its application with critical, aesthetic, and ethical sensitivity. To provide a higher consciousness of varied contemporary and decisive socio-political and economic issues.

  • Online Registration is Mandatory.
  • In addition to above Fee, Rs.10,000/- Admission Fee (Non-Refundable) and Rs. 5,000 Caution Money (Refundable) will be charged at the time of admission.
  • All the above Scholarships are applicable only on the Program Tuition Fee.
  • Only one type of scholarship can be given, students can opt for the higher %age of scholarship.
  • Scholarship cannot be more than 100% of Tuition fee.
