The School of Humanities & Liberal Arts plays the distinctive role in integrating human attributes and values with holistic science and technology education.
It helps to make India’s bright young minds critical thinkers and ensures all round holistic development of students through teaching of a variety of subjects, innovative curricula, and participation in co-curricular activities. The department offers varied subjects like Professional Communication, Engineering Economics, Principles of Management, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Values and Ethics being few of them. The department, in addition to supporting the breadth teaching in other schools across the university, also offers B.A (Hons.) Economics, B.A. (Hons.) English, B.A. (Hons.) Psychology, program at UG level, M.A. Clinical Psychology at PG level, and offers Ph.D. programs in English, Psychology and Economics.
