This discipline is related to the production of medicines and technology. It is recognized as the most vital division in pharmaceutical industry.
It pertains to drug formulations, formulations research, excipients, manufacturing, and drug regulatory affairs. Students acquire an in-depth understanding of the course, including product planning and formulation design for pharmaceuticals, and undergo training in every aspect of drug delivery and formulations, which is necessary for drug design and development through formulation development activities. Programs adhere to the curriculum specified by the Pharmacy Council of India and also include value-added and aptitude-building courses.

Upon completion of Master’s program in Pharmaceutics the graduates will have the opportunities to work in academics as lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor, professor and scientists at government & pharmaceutical industry research centres. The opportunities to work in production, manufacturing, R&D, F&D, marketing, Quality control, quality assurance, in pharmaceutical and herbal industries.
Student will be able to design, develop and optimize various drug delivery system.

Advanced Knowledge: Have advanced knowledge in the formulation development, analysis and drug delivery system in compliance with regulatory policies and analyse data by qualitative and quantitative statistical methods.
Aptitude: Able to correlate physicochemical properties of drug molecules in development of dosage forms with respect to its pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics properties.
