As per Section 4(1) (b) of the RTI Act 2005. Information sought under the Act would be scrutinized and considered if the RTI application received by the University fulfills the critiria for the information sought and is in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the RTI Act 2005.

DIT University has been established by Government of Uttarakhand vide Act No.10 of 2013 dated 15th February, 2013 and recognized by University Grants Commision under the provisions of Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
