  • Brief Profile

    Dr. Porwal joined as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, DIT University, Dehradun, in January 2015. After completed his doctorate in chemistry from IIT Madras in 2011, he has received a Postdoctoral Fellowship at CWRU Cleveland, Ohio, USA (2011–2014). He has also been honored with best thesis award in PhD Chemistry [Prof. C. N. Pillai Prize for Organic & Biochemistry] by IIT Madras in 2012. During his doctoral and postdoctoral study, he has published many research articles in peer-reviewed journals. His area of research interest includes green additives for fuels and lubricants, synthetic methodologies, and natural product chemistry.
