  • Brief Profile

    Mr. Gupta working as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at School of Liberal Arts and Management, DIT University, Dehradun. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur with research on "Effect of Yoga and Guided Imagery Upon Aggression and Self-esteem Among Juvenile delinquents". His areas of research are (i) the use of functional near infrared spectroscopy in yoga breathing, (ii) effect of yoga in clinical and neuropsychological outcomes, (iii) therapeutic use of yoga, (iv) occupational stress and yoga, and (v) surveys to determine the motivators, benefits and adverse outcomes related to yoga practice.

    Before joining to DIT University, he has the experience of Scientist-C at Patanjali Research Foundation, Haridwar. Moreover, his works have been published as a book, book chapters, and articles in internationally reputed journals including a couple of journals published by Taylor Francis, Springer, etc. He has published more than 40 publications, 22 conference and seminar presentations in India and other countries.
