    Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma presently working as Assistant Professor-I in DIT University Faculty of Pharmacy. Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma joined the Faculty of Pharmacy on 15th July 2006 as a Lecturer. He has a total Teaching and Research Experience of more than 18 years. Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma received his PhD in Pharmaceutical sciences from Uttarakhand Technical University in 2015 under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) A. K. Sharma, Ex Vice Chancellor SBS University (Ex Principal Eritrea Pharmacy College, Govt of Eritrea Asmara/Ex HOD BITS Ranchi. He obtained his M. Pharm degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Bundelkhand University Jhansi in 2006 and completed his B. Pharm from H. N. B. Garhwal University in 2001. His research interest involves Colon targeting drug delivery Synthetic Chemistry and Molecular Docking. He Qualified for GATE in 2003. Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma is a recognized Expert in the field of synthetic Chemistry and has many achievements to his credit.

    He also published 23 Research papers (Scopus, Pubmed, SCI, Web of Science and UGC care Indexed) and Review articles in national and international Journal of Repute. He also published two Books of Medicinal Chemistry-I and one Book chapter. He also filed 3 patents and 3 granted patents. Presented his Granted patent at Vigyan Bhawna New Delhi. He has attended several FDP, Workshops and QIP programmes. He also presented 11 research papers at International conferences and 11 at national conferences of repute. He also presented and attended more than 100 Webinars and symposiums. Currently supervising 3 Ph. D candidates. One student submitted his thesis. Supervised several M. Pharm, PhD. Students. Appointed as Observer, Paper setter, and Paper evaluator in various National and International Universities. He also delivered various invited talks at the National and International Levels. He is also Invited as Chief Guest, Resource Person, and Guest of Honour in Various National and International Conferences.

    Appointed as President of APTI Uttarakhand from for a five-year term (2022-27). He also worked as Vice President of APTI Uttarakhand from 2016-2022. He is also appointed as Secretary of IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association) and Treasurer of ACPI. He was also appointed as State Coordinator of APTI (Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India) in (2008- 2011 and 20012-2015) and also Appointed as Judge for poster Evaluation in APTICON 2018, and 2022. He also presented 7 invited lectures, 31 National and International presentations,17 Certificate courses by NPTEL and Course Era, and 20 Workshops attended. He was also Alternate Member Secretary for the Research Ethical Committee for Biomedical, Physical, and Health Sciences in 2021. He also received One seed grant from DIT University and received various awards like the Young Pharma Leader Award, Academician of the Year Award, Teacher of Year Award, Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Education, and many more from various colleges and agencies. He was also invited as a Judge, Guest of honor, and Chief Guest in Various national and International Conferences in Uttarakhand and Outside. He was Awarded as Best Oral presentation in AIMST university Malaysia in 2019. He was the Convener of APTICON 2019. He also got a certificate of Appreciation from DATRI CLUB for conducting a stem donation camp.

    He also Mentored 6 students under the CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) SRTP program. He had also done various Certificate courses by MOOC which were offered by various prestigious Universities like the University of London, Manchester University, United Kingdom, University of California, USA, University of Pittsburgh, USA, etc.

    Dr Rajeev is an Expert in handling various instruments like IR, Dissolution Apparatus, Flame Photometer, Colorimeter, HPLC, IR Spectrophotometer Conductmeter, UV, etc., and also expertise in various software like Chem Draw. He also has experience in molecular docking and worked on various software like Maestro (Schrodinger), PyRx, Swiss dock, etc. He is a member of various professional bodies like Life Member of APTI. Life member of IPA and Lifetime member of FHER. Actively participated in AICTE, NAAC, UGC, and PCI visits. He is the Coordinator of the UG Programme and Aarogya Club.
