• Brief Profile

  Dr. Pankaj Pant completed his Ph.D. from DIT University, supported by Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Havagiray R. Chitme, a distinguished researcher and academician in Pharmacy. A dedicated scholar, he secured an AIR of 2189 in GPAT-2017. His research interests include Reproductive Health, Infertility, Metabolic Syndromes, Oncology, and Psychological & Behavioral Health.

  He serves as an editorial board member of the Food & Pharma International Journal and has received multiple international grants. Committed to research and mentorship, he has guided over 15+ master's and bachelor's students and currently supervises Ph.D. and master's research on cancer, diabetes, and gastrointestinal complications.

  Dr. Pant played a key role in establishing the Molecular Pharmacology Laboratory at SoPPHI, funded by Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Germany. Actively involved in academia-industry collaborations, consultancy projects, and institutional committees, he contributes to industrial training, laboratory management, and research-driven education. He also served as an instructor for the Pharmacist Assistant program under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and the Uttarakhand Skills Development Mission (UKSDM).

  Dr. Pant has contributed to organizing various international and national conferences, seminars, and workshops. With international research projects, university seed grants, many publications, and patents, he advocates a multidisciplinary research approach to addressing real-world challenges. His vision is to translate research into societal benefits while fostering an enriched learning experience for students.
