Lead based design and development of New Chemical Entities (NCEs) from natural scaffolds against Anti-stress, Anxiolytic, Anti-arthritis, Antidiabetic, Antioxidant, Alzheimer’s, Antimalarial, Hepatoprotective and Antiurolithiatic. He is currently working on the area of herbal nutraceuticals, herbal cosmetics and value added product development from orgaDr. Sethiya is one of leading academician and highly cited researcher (Name enlisted in Stanford top 2% database from last three years) in field of pharmacy specially pharmacognosy with more than 16 years of rich diversified experience including academia, industries and entrepreneurship in reputed government and private organization. Dr. Sethiya is an accomplished administrator leading to establishment of CIIIES (Centre of Innovation, Incubation, Entrepreneurship and Startup) and Institutional Innovation Council (IIC) at DIT University. He is recipient of many acclaimed awards including appreciation letter from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for parikisha pe charcha 2023 program, APTI-Uttrakhand Researcher, Excellence in Performance, SPER Young Scientist, Dr. PD Sethi Best Research Paper and UGC-JRF Research Award. He is also acting as consultant for various industrial project and principal investigator for one Govt and some private funded project. He framed curriculum and introduced Clinical Pharmacognosy, first time as value added subject for B. Pharm students at DIT University. Besides teaching pharmacognosy and natural product chemistry, he has also hands-on domain and expertise on innovation, incubation, entrepreneurship development, patents, and national biodiversity authority approval. He is an expert speaker for many conferences, workshop, FDP and webinar. Additionally, he is recognized Mentor for Atal Innovation Mission, IIT Mumbai, IIT Kharagpur, IIM Bodhgaya, Member Advisory Board Yuva Incubates, Startup India, Startup Uttarakhand, OP Jindal University, B. Incubate and Innovation Ambassador for Innovation Council, Ministry of Education, Govt of India. He has been recently Honoured with position of Editor in Chief for Bentham Sciences Journal Current Indian Sciences- Natural Product and The Journal of Phytopharmacology. Recently Dr. Sethiya has been appointed as Reviewer Credit Ambassador of India. He is also serving as a life member for various prestigious national and international associations.
