Dr. Kumar did B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and M Tech in Heat Power Engineering from Nagpur University, Nagpur Maharashtra. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand in Heat & Mass Transfer He is the recipient of the MHRD fellowship during the Ph. D. and DAAD fellowship in Indo-German Project based Personal Exchange Programme. He became Professor of Heat Transfer in 2012. He has published 59 research papers science citation indexed journals and 49 research papers in national/ international conferences and Scopus indexed Journals. He has one patent granted & two patent published. He has supervised 7 doctoral thesis and 28 Master dissertations. He is the reviewer of International journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer and SAGE publications. He is the Region Editor of International Journal “EVER GREEN” published by Kyushu University Japan.
