  Mrs. Lalitha P is presently working as a professor cum Vice Principal in DIT College of Nursing, DIT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India has 26 yrs of experience in the field of Nursing. She has secured her Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing in 2002 from Sacred Heart Nursing College, Ultra Trust Madurai, Tamilnadu and pursued Ph.D from Desh Bhagat University, Punjab. She has the distinction of graduating from Bishops College of Nursing, Tamilnadu with Best Performer of the Batch and having Proficiency Awards in more than 7 subjects in 1997. She had been an Examiner for conducting practical examination in Mental Health Nursing, Nursing Education & Nursing Research in various Universities like The Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka, Amrita University, Kerala, Era University, Lucknow and Desh Bhagat University, Punjab. She has Guided 60 M.Sc. Nursing Dissertations under the Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai, Era University, Lucknow and Desh Bhagat University, Punjab. She was the question paper setter and evaluator for many universities. She has organised many National & International Workshops and been a resource person for many workshops and conferences. She is a GFATM trainer certified by the Indian Nursing Council, Delhi. She is a Trainer in Leadership Excellence Program certified by Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council. She has Secured the “BEST PAPER PRESENTATION AWARD” at STATE LEVEL competitions conducted by The Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai.
