Research Interest
Dr. Kavita Garg has joined Department of Chemistry as associate professor in September 2024. Kavita has received her PhD from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai in Chemistry and electronics. Later she worked as young scientist in IISc Bangalore and as postdoctoral fellow at Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel. She also worked as research associate in King’s College London, UK and later she secured UPSC first rank and joined as Senior Scientific Officer in Forensic Science laboratory (Govt. Of NCT Delhi, Department of Home). She has published many research articles in reputed journals, one of them was published as cover article in Chemical Sciences. She has been awarded with DST-SERB young scientist fellowship, DST-SERB Inspire faculty Fellowship, Dean’s Fellowship, CSIR Pool Scientist Position, DAE Graduate fellowships and many others.
