Dr. Jyotsna Dogra joined School of Computing in the Department of Computer Science as an Assistant Professor in November 2024. She completed her two year postdoc from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in December 2023. She received her PhD in the field of biomedical image analysis from Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) Wakhnaghat, and MTech in Electronics and Communication from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) Noida. Jyotsna’s research interest focuses on the image analysis of MRI biomedical brain images, with the intention of improving the assessment, quantification and diagnosis of tumor in the current clinical practice. Her work so far has spanned across the areas of image segmentation, feature extraction, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques applied in magnetic-resonance (MR) imaging dataset.
