Research Interest
Huma Naz joined the School of Computing as an Assistant Professor in February,2025. She received her PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. Her research focuses on AI-driven medical imaging, deep learning, and disease detection. She has multiple SCIE publications in high-impact journals and holds four granted patents. She is the Co-Principal Investigator of a DST-funded AI-based smart snake trapping project. Before joining, she was a Senior Research Fellow at CSIR DIRECT and completed a research internship at Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia.
