Brief Profile
Ms. Antara Biswas joined the Department of School of Liberal Arts and Management as an Assistant Professor in February 2025. She is currently pursuing her PhD in English Literature from IIT Roorkee. Her PhD thesis explores the representation of tattooed women in fiction, analysing themes of body, memory, and identity. Her research interests extend to feminist theories, cultural studies, and film narratives, focusing on how these frameworks shape understandings of gender and embodiment. She has experience teaching English Literature and Communication Skills and has served as a peer reviewer for reputed academic journals. Her publications include journal articles, book chapters, and review articles in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
